This pattern will be fully customizable to your own measurements! Simply follow the measuring instructions in each section.
How to read this pattern
This pattern uses no specific stitch or row count, due to it being fully custom to your own measurements. The lettered instructions do NOT indicate rows, but instead STEPS to follow. Make sure to follow all the measuring instructions for a perfect fit. You will see I entered my own measurements for reference: I am typically a size Small. If you have any questions, I will be sure to answer you ASAP on @HighLevelBandanas on Instagram.
Material
Yarn: Your fave medium weight colours for the background! For my waffle, I used Sea Panda Yarns in Poinsettia. Each skein is 220 yards, and I used two. For the body, I used Bernat Super Value in Peony Pink Each skein is 440 yards, and I used just over two (approximately 920 yards).
You’ll also need scrap green, pink, white, and black for the melon!
Hook: 5mm

Abbreviations
Ch: Chain
Sc: Single Crochet.
ScInc: Single Crochet Increase (2 Sc in one stitch)
Dc: Double Crochet.
DcInc: Double Crochet Increase (2 Dc in one stitch)
Hdc: Half-Double crochet
HdcInc: Half-Double Crochet Increase (2 Hdc in one stitch)
SlSt: Slip Stitch
FpDc: Front-Post Double Crochet (Dc around the post of the stitch, inserting your hook from front to back)
HdcSlStBlo: Half-Double Crochet Slip Stitch in Back Loop Only.
(Yarn over, insert hook in BACK LOOP of stitch, yarn over, & pull through. You should have 3 loops on your hook. Pull the first loop through the 2 remaining loops.)
