The Pumpkin Patch Hat - PDF Pattern
The Pumpkin Patch Bucket Hat
By @HighLevelBandanas
A beginner-friendly, made to measure hat that is perfect for a touch of spook this October! Includes step-by-step photos & a tester lookbook!
For personal use - please do not sell or reproduce this pattern. Tag me in your completed project - I would love to see it! :) This pattern will be fully customizable to your own measurements! Simply follow the measuring instructions in each section.
How to read this pattern: If you follow this patten as-is with worsted weight yarn, the hat should fit anywhere from a small to large adult head, since we’ll be decreasing to size later on in the pattern. With this in mind, there will be instructions on how to adjust the pattern from the very start for smaller sizes, as well as larger. Make sure to follow all the measuring instructions for a perfect fit. If you have any questions, I will be sure to answer you ASAP on @HighLevelBandanas on Instagram.
Materials
Yarn: Worsted weight yarn in orange! I used Impeccable by Loops & Threads in Pumpkin. Each skein is 285 yards, and I used just under a skein. For the stem, I just used a small amount of scrap brown. *If you would rather use Bulky yarn, I suggest making this hat with Sc, as opposed to Hdc.
Hook: Size 5, or your yarn’s corresponding hook size.
Measuring Tape
Yarn Needle
Stitch Markers
Just a bit of stuffing (I used yarn ends!)
