How to read this pattern

This pattern uses no specific stitch or row count, due to it being fully custom to your own measurements. The lettered instructions do NOT indicate rows, but instead STEPS to follow. Make sure to follow all the measuring instructions for a perfect fit. You will see I entered my own measurements for reference: I am typically a size XS-S.
If you have any questions, I will be sure to answer you ASAP on @HighLevelBandanas on Instagram.

Materials
Yarn: Since this pattern is made to your measurements, you can use any size yarn! But, for the chunky look, I used Super Bulky yarn. Specifically, my Colour A was Malabrigo Rasta in Valentina, and Colour B was Malabrigo Rasta in Cucumber. Each skein is 90 yards. I used less than one skein of A, and one skein of B. * I highly recommend Super Bulky yarn, considering the stitch we will be using builds up quite slowly.
Hook: Since we’ll be doing the “waistcoat stitch”, I recommend going a few sizes up from the hook size recommended with your yarn. I went with an 11mm hook, but my testers found they got a looser fabric with sizes 14mm-19mm.
